Chr Athanasiou has a strong commitment to the environment in which we work, and we follow internationally recognised guidance to lessen the effects of our operations. To achieve this we will:
- minimise the use of natural resources
- minimise waste and improve efficiency
- actively promote recycling
- meet or exceed all applicable environmental regulations
- use non-polluting and energy-efficient technologies wherever possible
- promote the use of greener products and services
- minimise toxic emissions by the careful selection and maintenance of our transport fleet
- measure our progress against E.U. targets for resource efficiency and pollution reduction
- establish an action plan with a regular review of progress
